NFL's Greatest Fantasy Football Franchises: Arizona Cardinals No. 25

As we take a break from the AFC North, we head into the best defensive division in the NFC, the NFC West. The Arizona Cardinals rank 25th on our countdown and their lineup is unique compared to the rest of the teams on our countdown. Scroll down to view Arizona's dubious distinction.

Team Points: 1778.46

QB: Neil Lomax (1984) - 300.96 Fantasy Points

Neil Lomax finished second only to Dan Marino in 1984 for passing yards with 4,614. Marino had 5,084.

HB1: Otis Anderson (1979) - 251.30 Fantasy Points

Otis Anderson totaled 1,913 yards from scrimmage and ten touchdowns in 1979, his rookie season. Use this information wisely as we approach the start of the 2014 Fantasy Season. It pays to gamble on rookie running backs.

HB2: MacArthur Lane (1970) - 212.20 Fantasy Points

MacArthur Lane didn't rush for 1,000 yards in 1970, but he did score 13 touchdowns, and caught 32 passes for 365 yards.

WR1: Roy Green (1984) - 227.50 Fantasy Points

Roy Green and Neil Lomax connected 78 times for 1,555 yards and 12 touchdowns in 1984. Green is currently 60th on the All-Time-Leading Receivers list.

WR2: Larry Fitzgerald (2008) - 215.10 Fantasy Points

Larry Fitzgerald 96 passes from a past-his-prime Kurt Warner in 2008. No disrespect intended. An over the hill Warner is still better than anyone else Fitzgerald has worked with throughout his nine year NFL career.

TE: Jackie Smith (1967) - 183.10 Fantasy Points

Jackie Smith was drafted in the 10th round of the 1963 NFL Draft. In 1967, Smith caught 56 passes for 1.205 yards and nine touchdowns.

FLEX: David Boston (2001) - 211.30 Fantasy Points

The Arizona Cardinals are the only team in this countdown to feature a wide receiver in the FLEX position. They can thank David Boston, and his performance enhancing substances for a remarkable 2001.

K: Neil Rackers (2005) - 177.00 Fantasy Points

If you've been paying close attention, you'll recognize Neil Rackers from the Houston Texans fantasy lineup. Neil was a younger man when he made it for the Cardinals and outscored 2011 Texans Neil Rackers 177 to 144.

25. Arizona Cardinals - 1778.46
26. Baltimore Ravens - 1750.08
