NFL's Greatest Fantasy Football Franchises: Tampa Bay Buccaneers No. 31

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known for being the worst. The franchise holds NFL records for longest-losing-streak (26 games), most consecutive 10-loss seasons (12 seasons), and was the last franchise to return a kickoff for a touchdown. Tampa generally finds their way to the bottom, and their 31st place ranking among the greatest fantasy football franchises is par for the course.

The Buffalo Bills rank in at number 22 on our countdown and boast some familiar talent from your memories of pre-millennial football. Rabble Waivers: Week 7

Quarterbacks

1. Nick Foles (PHI) STARTER
Nick Foles' four touchdown performance in Sunday's contest in Tampa is nothing to sneeze at. The Bucs are 0-5, but their defense had been playing well, allowing just 17.5 points per game. Foles and the Eagles scored 31 on Sunday. He hasn't given the Eagles any reason to rush Vick back onto the field, and we wouldn't be surprised if he finishes the season as the Eagles starting quarterback.

2. Josh Freeman (MIN) HIDE N' WATCH
Josh Freeman is going to be the starting quarterback in Minnesota sooner than later. Now would be a good time to pickup the potential QB1. It's becoming clear that Tampa is the problem, not Josh Freeman. Tampa is no stranger to releasing talent. Notable Departures under Greg Schiano: Aquib Talib, LeGarette Blount, Michael Bennett (led SEA in Sacks before injury).

Week 3 Waiver Moves

Quarterbacks

Alex Smith - Kansas City Chiefs QB
If you're hurting for a QB, you can't go wrong with Alex Smith.  He's scored at least two touchdowns in each contest and he looks to be a factor in the running game.  The best part -- he's playing mistake-free football, zero turnovers.  Grab him in deeper leagues or get him for a bye-week relief.

Terrelle Pryor - Oakland Raiders QB
More than likely this guy is already gone in your league, but if he's available you should add him ASAP. Pryor is a dual-threat QB on a team that is likely to be playing from behind in most contest.  He could become a garbage time king.  Grab and wait.

Ryan Tannehill - Miami Dolphins QB
The Dolphins are for real, and they're only going to get better.  Tannehill hasn't had a big game yet, but he is starting to gel with his new weapons, and will explode at some point this season.  Get him now.  Chances are he has more upside than your bench quarterback.
